About Me

Devon Khalsa is an NYC-based actor and playwright. Her heightened ambition and slightly misguided thinking has sent her on some wacky artistic tangents: at eight years old, singing Johnny Cash’s “Hurt” to nursing home residents at their bingo hour, at ten, reenacting scenes from the Phantom of the Opera (movie version) to her older classmates (costumes included), and at twelve, producing a Bossa Nova album titled “Devon Disappear,” a project that explored all facets of the human condition with songs like “Believe in You” (a track about the inner turmoil that comes from wrestling with the belief of a higher power) and “I Want to Go See the World,” (this title speaks for itself).
